Perth to get A380

QF/Partner award search from CBR (and more likely other east coast cities) to DXB and further will often route you via PER or ADL, both those ports seem to have good availability of F and J award seats to DXB.

Never been to Bali...and until J seats are offered rather go else where .... never been on a A380 either ....

Apparently EK have upscaled their lounge for the new 380 services, so you'd imagine it's better than the QF pub there.

The EK lounge was/is better than the QF lounge. It may be suffering now due to space thanks to QF giving them the majority of there non Asia business out of perth.

I managed to go for 7 days and wasn't sick.

Actually I like all those who said why go blah blah. I went kicking and screaming to a friends wedding there...in Kuta. Thankfully I booked a few nights at the Four Seasons in Ubud after. Also got to see other parts of the island. Kuta is a dump full of bogans. There are many other areas which are beautiful.
