Hi all,

Rumour has it that Skywest is going to make a long awaited return to doing the Perth - Karratha round

Is anybody able to shed any light on this for me? True/false?

We're fed up with paying more to fly to perth than it costs us to fly to bali, or for people in perth to fly to melbourne.

As much as you can trust the "West Australian", yes it's true:

Skywest unveils raft of services : thewest.com.au

In line with expansion plans, Skywest started services to Port Hedland in early July amid plans to launch a Karratha-Perth route and ramp up services to Exmouth, Broome and Darwin later this year.

Nothing on SkyWest's website about this yet.

The mining boom is definitely helping flights happen.

BTW - Welcome to AFF :)
