Hello wise people.

Later this year Im travelling on QF10 from LHR to PER (arrives in terminal 3) and then connecting to a QF domestic flight PER-SYD (departing form terminal 4) a few hours later.

I allowed for a longer than minimum transit to allow for any flight delays out of London, but also so that I could have shower in the Qantas Club, stretch out and have a real dinner before embarking on the final leg.

QF10 arrives in PER Terminal 3, and I know I will need to clear immigration, collect my luggage, clear customs before re-checking my luggage for the domestic flight.

What I would like to know is if I can do a Bag Drop in Terminal 3 even though the PER-SYD flight leaves from terminal 4? As the Qantas Club is in Terminal 3.

Or will I have to walk over to Terminal 4 (yes I know its not too far), bag drop my checked luggage and then walk back to Terminal 3 to access the Qantas club?

I've assumed that Qantas will issue both my boarding passes in LHR, but could it be I will actually have to check in for the PER-SYD leg only once Im in Perth?

I know QF10 has only been operating via PER for a short while but would love to here of anyone first hand experience.

Thanks

Thanks for the correction, I should have checked Qantas site instead of the maps on the PER Airport site. The Terminal 3-4 map on PER website, shows Qantas lounge in Terminal 3 (which I am guessing is actually the international transit lounge) and no lounge in terminal 4.

Good question. There are no check-in desks in T-3 for Qantas. So once you have your baggage, walk up to T-4 and re-check your luggage, clear security and head upstairs for the lounge :-)
