PER International business lounge

Hi All,

I’m wondering if any regular travelers departing Perth could provide me with an update about the progress of the upgrade to the Perth international business lounge..

I flew to SIN in March this year and noticed the lounge was being updated. There looked to be some pretty serious construction going on and a sign saying something about works in progress..

Have these been completed..?

I’m fly to France on Saturday and wondering if it’s worth getting there a little early to see what’s on offer.. otherwise I’ll spend the extra hour at home..

Work is complete. Lounge is now slightly smaller than prior to the renovations and I suggest you spend the extra hour at home...

When it is a five hour drive to get to the airport, you don't begrudge getting into a "middling" lounge two hours before your flight.

Wow, I assumed it was still work in progress. A significant downgrade...

I specifically asked the lounge dragon and they confirmed everything is complete.

As no QF group services will use that lounge after March 2018 I do not think you can expect much.

Perth Airport has taken space off the QF lounge to create a new retail shop outside the entrance.

Because of this reduction, around 10pm its standing room only because of CX and SA passengers & guests.

I'm flying Eithad with a 5pm departure time so if i do end up getting there early, I'll miss the crush of the later one world flights.
