Maybe this is old news, but I was looking at a booking I have in April for PER-BME (upgraded to J with points) and the flight is now operated by a 717. It looks like only one flight per day in each direction will now be offering J down from 2 or 3 :(. Should I call QF to get my upgrade points back or they will be credited automatically to my account in 6 to 52 weeks...

Call them back to be sure. However PER-BME has (for quite a while now) been operated by 2 717s and 1 73Hs per day (except Sat). Generally the 737 service has been the one in the middle of the day while the morning and afternoon/night services have been 717s.

So I did call and they refunded me the points on the spot, but I realised that the flight segment went from class U to X so I had to call again and tell them that this was not an award flight but an upgrade with points. Everything is good now, but if I had not seen the class X I would have waited a long time for my SCs and points to post!!!
