If I have 2 separate bookings PDX-SFO on UA and SFO-SIN on SQ, can I still interline the bags at PDX and have them checked all the way through to SIN?
Is it quite safe to do this?
Or should I collect my bags at SFO and re-check for the SFO-SIN flight?
Is there enough time if I catch the UA 7:00am flight from PDX which arrives into SFO at 8:52am. I'm due to depart on SQ at 14:05.
I would be on 2 separate e-tickets, UA and SQ. Travel would be in April. What are the chances of Fog/delays at PDX and SFO?
The other option would be to catch a flight from PDX the night before. I noticed that UA don't have flights in the evening, they seem to use codeshares with Skywest DBA United Express, on smaller aircraft (Embraer ERJ-175 and Canadair regional jet 700)
Anyone flown Alaskan? They have direct flights on 737 from PDX-SFO in the evening.
