Just got off the phone with 131211, and they could not help me unfortunately.....

1. a JASA got recorded as classic award on the activity statement. The 131211 could not see the nature of the entry, just the destinations. Could not help me rectify.
2. got charged for the payment (96000+payment for MEL-SYD-LAX JASA) twice. The 131211 guy claims he cant see money ever going in when the points were deducted. It came off my credit card and was never seen again.
3. Need to call two different departments at 9am to sort this out (hopefully successfully otherwise additional phone call to EDR) ...... and i am in CA...... 'sigh'.......

Would have totally missed it if i never checked..............

This sounds very unusual. Has it since been sorted? I'd be happy to follow up if you could PM the details.

The JASA turned classic awards issue i have seen before and that was fixed by calling the rewards (? terminology) team and sorted quickly.

The credit card charge was, however not.

two different premium desk operators gave me two different stories, one said the $390 was taken out as part of the JASA (96000+390) from oz-LAX. that would be nice if it was only $390 but of course that is not true. Couldn't get the point across so gave up. The second premium desk operator said the first guy was incorrect and she will look into it and call me back. Never heard. No email either.

So i have initiated a dispute from AMEX and they will query Qantas.

I might enlist your help red roo if this runs into brick walls (hopefully dont have to burden you with this).

Oh and did i mention, I never store credit card details on QF and somehow they charged me without me giving them my details. I can not understand how that happened. And no, it is not a very very delayed charge thats only being deducted now. I have done my BAS recently and nothing is missing.
