Passport Stamping in the EU

The 15 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. All these countries except Norway and Iceland are European Union members.

There are a few more Schengen countries now, such as Poland and Czech Republic.

As a consequence, when I did Poland to France (and vice versa) recently, there was no border control and there was thus no passport stamping.

Thanks for updating my out-of-date info. Twould be nice to see all of Europe, including UK, participate.
 
Vary hard to read some of these stamps in my passport.

I have an entry and exit stamp for ATH.

I have an entry stamp at LHR but no outbound stamp.

I have an entry stamp into FRA arriving from LHR. Then because I am such a special person I had a whole lot of entry and exit stamps with bus tour through Central Europe. Normally Australian passports do not get stamped moving through Schengen areas but I asked the tour guide to get my passport stamped at each border crossing and the officials were more than happy to oblige.

I have an exit stamp from HEL arriving from FRA but I was only in transit through to ZRH.

I have an entry stamp into HEL arriving from ZRH.

I have an exit stamp from BRU returning to Australia via LHR.
