Maybe Centrelink or CommBank could take it on. Or somewhere similar that you could drive to in less than a day, say. ðŸ
Surely you jest.

What is the current passport price,
My current one expires July 2017.
I paid a bit more for my UK jumbo passport (just over £100?), including a 4-hour turnaround service (while-you-wait) at the Peterborough passport office. Pity Australia can't do something similar. My nz passport just cost $180.00 for 10 years, and my UK £82.00 for 10 years
Re guarantor, aye not needing guarantor for renewals is goodSo time for a new passport and today I got my photos done. A lot less hair than the last one and my beard has gone grey.
Who is that old man looking back at me?
As for the process, well I filled out the form on line, have printed it out and made an appointment for tomorrow morning.
At least I don't need a guarantor for a renewal.
Pity passport fees going up soon.
We take our own passport photos now with a simple digital camera...there are free online tools that make sure it fits the required dimensions...than we take it to the local Officeworks to print it for 50cHowever, the cost of photos themselves are a bit of a rort. $16.95 for six photos when you only need two.

The main issue with delivery is that they only send it to your physical street address rather than a PO Box. This means I'll get the card advising that it is available and then have to go back to the post office to collect it.
