Hi All
I was wondering if someone more experienced with the parking at Sydney could help me out?

I regularly fly in to Sydney on QF566 from Perth and usually don't have a car at the airport so just cab it home. However on an upcoming trip it is going to be easier to drive to the airport on the way to Perth as I won't be at home before I leave. My worry is that because QF566 is either the last or one of the last flights into Sydney before the curfew cuts in I might not be able to get my car back to get home as ever every time ytime I have come in on that flight the airport has seemed pretty well shut up. Has anyone had any experience coming this late and getting to cars? Cost wise it is obviously best to park around in the long term car park but I am really worried the bus will have stopped running to get me back there? As this trip is for a special occasion I may splash out on valet but are they still there at that time? Is the safest option to leave it in the short term park where I am sure the ticket machine and boom gate will still be working? Your help is much appreciated.

If you don't get a response from the car park operator, try calling Park 'n' Ride, who should be able to tell you their last pick-up time.

I'm not saying this to cause any undue alarm, but I'm aware that there have been assaults in the domestic terminal carpark at night.

Look at ParknFly - they are basically across the road from the airport nearly. They''l park your car, drop you at terminal and pick you up on your return. They service all flights.

You can even book the parking etc online.
I have used them several times and they are very reliable.

I have to agree with the other in here.

Park n Fly is the way to go. I use them every time I fly, which is approx once every fortnight.

They are always there for pick up. If you book your car in online, they know when you are retuning and will be there to pick you up. Worst case is you have to ring them. But they will be there with out fail. Even if they flight is delayed they wait around.

A many times I have caught the late flight from Perth and a couple of occasions the flight was late, I was worried that they would close, When the flight arrived I walk out only to find the Bus waiting. I was told at the depot that they keep an eye on flight, especially the later ones for this very reason.

Very professional and I have no issue leaving my car there for the length of time i am away, which is anything from 2 days to 2 weeks.

Cheers
