Parents hand out "sorry" packs on a flight

This is a very thoughtful gesture which would be appreciated by those seated nearby. Call it a bribe if you want but to me it simply shows consideration for others.

I bet the FA's were all over this and offering to help every 2 minutes. Anyone who complained would be handcuffed and gagged :D

I wonder if the coaches of travelling rugby teams will start doing something similar? ;)

It already is offered. Slips of paper with the team hotel and mobile number are regularly given out to women... ;)

The sorry part happens the morning after...

Considering how many people complain on airline forums about screaming children, parents being irresponsible on flight, having separate planes and not allowing kids to travel in J...Blah blah blah...
This is a considerable and pro active approach by two parents who obviously have either travelled, or have been placed in situations where they wished they could make people lighten up just a little from children being in cabins.
I don't see it as parents having to be apologetic for their kids. It's the thought and consideration that goes a long way IMHO.
For goodness sake, can't society stop being so precious about everything in this world, and just smile when people do something from the kindness of their heart.

I think it was very cleverly worded. A little bit of education goes a long way. You could see some PAX reading it and saying "oh, they cry because their ears hurt? I never thought of that!"
