Whilst I feel that in this case the pax should have just sucked it up and used what was available, I can certainly understand their desire not to. That said I also feel that suing is not the right thing to be doing either.
I think you raise a good point. As an able bodied person I take independence for granted. So I understand where he could be coming from.

But to take legal action? I think thats a bit off and smells of attention seeking.

This bloke is going to make a killing travelling the world suing any entity that doesn't have the "right" wheelchairs.

I wonder how he feels about the stories that appear from time to time about able but overfed, lazy Americans using a wheelchair to bypass security lines, and if he feels the same way about (Member for Bennelong) John Alexander's comments about 'too much pride' for a disabled car park permit?
