Paper towels enhanced from lounges?

I mean they do seem to be implying they’re meant to be there in these replies

I decided myself the logical thing to do is ask for a pack of actual towels on entry

I just had a light bulb moment. The lounges also have showers. You can request a towel pack. If each person requests a towel when they go to the bathroom so they can dry their hands properly after, they might sit up and take some notice.

Next my vending machine idea will catch on!!

The Qantas business lounge in Singapore still has the paper towels (as does the first lounge).

Oh I hope that spreads to other lounges. No photo but there were no towels in the CBR J Dom lounge on 14 March when we went through on the way to JNB. Plenty of paper towels in SYD Int F Lounge though.

Walked into the SYD Dom J lounge bathroom today and got a surprise, the paper towels are back!

Probably got sick of all the tissues and loo paper being wasted due to lack of towels, the extra cleaning or maybe someone slipped on the water puddles on the floor created by hundreds of dripping wet hands evey day walking away from sinks to an ineffective drying mechanism.

Or maybe just maybe they listeded to all the complaints.
