Palaces and The Sahara

Omg the driving in Morocco! They have lots of large roundabouts and the way to navigate them is to drive halfway around, and come to a complete stop until there is space for you to continue. It also seemed that the proper way to navigate when you have two lanes is to drive in the middle of both.

Thanks for a great trip report. I really enjoyed following along and your great photos.

Thanks for this wonderful TR. I have experienced it a little on cruise excursions but unfortunately won’t see it in more depth now as great to tag along with you.
Agree. Wonderful trip report. I did an overnight excursion to Marrakesh from a cruise. Lunch at a lovely riad but the toilet facilities were woeful. Ended up with the worst tummy bug ever. High temperature. The works. Ended up being so sick I missed Fez and Malaga. I was very glad to be back on the ship when it hit.
I am going to investigate Travelan.

Thank you for the TR.
Currently sitting in our airbnb in London, adding some of your suggestions to our list. ( 7 weeks based here )
We also have 2 nights in Casablanca next month.

Hampton Court Palace was by far my favourite. When I got home I rewatched The Tudors and it was surreal that I had just walked around King Henry VIII's house. The ridiculousness of it all is quite funny.

I remember exactly the same feeling when I'd avidly watched the Borgias, then eventually just stood in the room where I'd seen the Pope have his bath, thinking, how our time on earth is so tiny and well, only important to us in that tiny space.

Now investigating Travelan.
