OWE with QF, book AA ticket and flight number, B6 metal. Does OWE still mean anything?

I am wondering if anyone can help...

I am OWE via QFP1 status.

Looking at some flights in the US later this year and there are options through AA on JetBlue metal via codeshare.

I'll be going through BOS and JFK, so I am hoping to use the AA lounges before the flights. I am also hoping for baggage allowance via OWE on these flights.

Has anyone had any experience with AA and JetBlue codeshares and whether OW status will count/be allowed even though on JetBlue aircraft?

No personal experience but I know for BA on JetBlue your status isn’t recognized at all. JetBlue isn’t a OW airline.
Doesn’t matter that you booked on an AA codeshare. For OW it has to be operated by OW metal.

So I don’t think you will get any benefits. AA doesn’t get lounge access on Domestic flights.

Yeah it’s what I was expecting, but given the tie up between AA and B6 is more than just codeshare (AA FF recognised through B6) I was hoping my QFP1 OWE would filter through if I booked via AA. Maybe it’s wishful thinking. Might just try JetBlue anyway as I’m reading it is much better than AA anyway.

Zero benefits on B6. No lounge access, nothing.
