We are once a year overseas travellers & usually book our trips online. It seems that I cannot go online & print an outgoing passenger card? Do any regular os travellers have any ideas of getting hold of outgoing passenger cards prior to getting to the airport. I live in a small country town, so I can't really drop into the travel agent & ask for some seeing I haven't used and paid for their services

I'm sure someone here would be willing to post you a few, (I'll have a look and see if I have some - from memory I grabbed about 4 last time, but not sure where I stashed them)

There isn't really any other way unfortunately. Customs might, but I think they would be of the opinion - "You can pick them up at the airport".

Why do you need one? It takes less than 2 mins each to fill out. Take a pen!

It's nice to have a pax card to fill in prior to travelling, but it's no big deal if you don't. You will be given one most likely when you first check in, and there are usually loads of places near to the entrance to air side which have them sitting around if you don't get one on check in.

It takes less than 2 minutes to fill one in.

Thanks for the replies. I know it is not a biggie & it is a relatively short process but it is good to be able to head straight from checkin to the lines without having to fill in a form. The SYD airport has seemed to become a shopping centre rather travel processing spot.
I guess I was hoping that progress meant that I could simply print a PDF form that was acceptable!
Thanks for the thoughts Mal, I will just suck it up & wait till I get there.:)

It states in your profile that your North Coast NSW. Are you planning on flying to SYD via a local airport or driving to SYD first?

If flying some regional airport will allow check in for international flights and have the appropriate paperwork ready to go.

I try to keep a spare couple with my passport, but even when I run out of them I just establish my place in the queue and then as politely as I can walk up to the check-in desks and grab a couple. Even if there is no queue I find I can fill in 80% of the form at the desk while waiting for my boarding pass and then fill in the rest whilst waiting to clear C&I (no Express cards for me). So don't sweat it.
