Am about to take a CX flight and am waiting in the mediocre Pacific Lounge that CX contracts with.

I noticed that in the main concourse there is another lounge called "NorthLounge" that has a CX sign at the front. However I was refused entry for not having an invitation card and directed to Pacific Lounge - despite being OWS flying CX J. (She was also initially confused by the fact that it was a CX flight on a Finnair issued boarding pass in HEL)

What do I need to do to get an invitation? was I right to be refused entry? And more importantly, what's it like - it certainly appeared more modern than Pacific Lounge.

very odd - CX only lists the pacific lounge and thats the one I've used before - oneworld.com does list the ANA lounge in the North Wing as being used by MH and QR, maybe F passengers get an invite based on class only?
