Background: I needed to get from TPE to KIX and had a hard time finding anything with a reasonable cash price, so ended up using KrisFlyer points to booked TPE-PVG-KIX (CA and NH).
The problem with this is that the PVG-KIX flight is scheduled to arrive at 22:00. Assuming that flight is on time, what are my chances of making the last train from the airport to Osaka before they go to sleep for the night? From what I can tell, on weeknights the last two are at 23:20 and 23:55. Given the airport might be quiet(-ish) at that time of day, is it realistic to hope to get through border control in 30 mins or so?
