Agree, VA give (gave) theirs out on day flights which I loved. Much better quality I found too, someone else mentioned they shrink but I haven’t had that.

My VA ones shrunk as well I can confirm. Were good first time wear but that was it.

They got 3 x $1 from me before I thought of the possibility that it sold out. Oh well. Gotta be quick 'round here! I'll try google chrome and not safari, if there is a next time. Though I have noticed lots of new PJs on ebay going at $80 - opportunists strike again. I'm gonna pass. Never selling my 747 J class joy flight memorabilia.
They are not real charges but just approvals to see if the CC is valid. Normal behaviour. They will drop off in a few days I would expect.

Actually I wonder why the first class ones havnt been listed ? They aren't going to have first class for three years are they ?

Would have bought one for my sister who is in lockdown in MEL had I been quicker. No worries though, glad they managed to clear their inventory successfully.

Spotted a mention of the Qantas Care Packs on social media just before I left for work yesterday morning. Was tossing up whether to buy a pack then and there or wait until I got home from work. Glad I decided to buy one straight away as it seems they sold like the proverbial hot cakes.

I reckon there was only ever a small number of these packs available and they were intended to sell out within hours - to create a marketing moment like the time McDonalds sold special sauce. A few of us jumped on this and bought multiple packs (I got 3) but I don't think enough people would have got them to tarnish the prestige of the PJs. Where were you the time QF sold their PJs?

They sold 10,000 of them in less than a day, not a huge amount but pretty decent!

After the SYD 747 Farewell joy flight, standard Biz amenity packs were on sale in the hanger afterwards for $5 each. Also for sale $5 plastic trolley drawers, gold coin donation crockery items, a couple of other things I didn't photograph as well as plenty of wrapped snack biscuits to take away gratis.

Anyone know if they were the 100 year special edition PJ's or jut the regular?

I jumped online to purchase as soon as I saw it on FB only to find sold out quickly... gave them some feedback & said if they had limited the number to 2 per person rather than 10 there would have been more to go around...

Damn - just saw this now and have well and truly missed out. Wish they have made it a limit of 1 or 2, not 10!

Given there's probably $15 in postage this is a nice little earner. I once had a pair of the PJs back on the day when you could get an international business class seat on points. They are thin and cheap but OK for a wear-once disposable. I noticed few passengers used them and most left them behind. I wore mine once on getting home and didn't bother laundering - straight in the bin.

Sold out! Looks like they priced those wrong. Looking forward to the F care packages at $200.

QF wine have also been offering bonus points on the little plastic bottles of Y wine for months, and there’s no sign of them running out yet.

I found the VA ones shrink so much in the dryer that they are only fit for Hobbits within a couple of washes.
That would be nice, said this hobbit. I found the QF ones only fitted brobdingnagians. You can get some QF ones cheap at my local lifeline; Following an edict from Mrs Pineapple, I took a boatload of them down there not long ago.

A general error occurs after your credit card is verified and prevents purchase
Standard QF website stuff. Use only chrome on a PC running the latest, clear your cookies in anticipation of the tim tams, say three hail marys, throw a pinch of salt over your shoulder, hit ”pay”, note the error code and call up. They will tell you to use only chrome on a PC running the...
