G'day,

I will be arriving late at Melbourne Tullamarine airport at 2245 on Sat night. My outbound flt is domestic at 0600 next morning. What are my best options apart from sleeping on a chair at the airport? :)

Thank you.

There's a few hotels in the airport precinct - the Parkroyal, Ibis, Ibis Styles, Novotel, Holiday Inn. Most are within walking distance. Cheaper options if you are willing to travel a little from the airport but I wouldn't recommend it, you'd easily spend the difference (not to mention the time involved) on taxis.

Walkability wise my recommendations would be Parkroyal, Ibis Styles or Novotel. The former is right next to T2/3, the two latter are a short walk down from T4

Pick one of the hotels @33kft mentioned based on your willingness to spend, they're all within ready walking distance. It's long enough that trying to sleep in a chair is very unattractive to me and I'd rather the humanity that a private room and bathroom provides, fresh for the next day of flying.

Yeah, all the hotels mentioned by @33kft above are within walking distance. If you’ve got Accor status, you could also look at the Novotel / Ibis Styles Melbourne Airport, it’s pretty new, opened in 2024 and both interlinked. I’ve only been there once for a conference, but being brand new there wasn’t much to fault

Theres also a few that's labelled "airport" but isn't within walking distance. They all have shuttle servicea though.
