A friend of mine is looking at going between Perth (PER) and Fukuoka (cough) on March 15/16 and departing back around the 24th of March for work

He wouldn't be booking the travel, but gets a fair choice in who he will fly with.

I need some advice on

1) who offers the best connections
2) who has the best service/product (i.e newer aircraft etc)
3) any possible OW flights to credit to QF

I can think of CX via HKG, but not too sure if it is regional or new config.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

CX is actually not terrific as it requires a 24:10 stopover in HKG on the return, and also HKG-cough stops in TPE enroute.

Best option may be QF to NRT and then domestic flight from there, or on Singapore Airlines.

Hello~

There's 3 main ways of doing it:

PER-HKG-cough on CX. CX has only 3 flights per week though.

PER-SIN-cough on SQ. SQ has flights everyday

PER-NRT-cough on QF/JL. QF only has 3 flights per week also.

In terms of who is cheapest, QF will nearly always be in the 1000+ range. SQ is normally around there too, but if you catch a special it can get down to around 800. CX is around 1200 normally and gets down to only 1000.

If it's urgent and you want to be flexible, i'd fly SQ. If not, I'd look for a special on CX/SQ. QF to tokyo is too troublesome for us when we fly to cough =)

You can get Oneworld points on QF/CX. Be careful though a lot of CX cheap fares get no points.

For best aircraft, the SQ is on regional products. CX is also on regional products, even HKG-cough. QF's craft is even worse. SQ would be my best bet.

Hope that helps!
