I am considering joining IAPA, there appear to be a few advantages to membership especially if using their booking service? The Priority Pass membership might be useful when travelling through an airport without OW / Star Alliance lounges? CDG being one where 'our' Lounges are all in T1 but AF operates solely out of T2.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I was a member of this in the early 90's, until I got QP access through my QF status. Thought it was expensive (but then again, each to their own).

Would be useful in the circumstances you provided, however it would depend on how many times you used it in a year and how much overall time you spent in them, getting your value for money (i.e. what price for a quiet lounge with access to what benefits in the lounge)...
