Operational Hours - Changi Airport

An easy solution might be just to stay at the Crowne Plaza in Terminal 3. Only takes a few minutes to get across to T1 in the morning

Or take a slightly later flight (or even similarly timed flight) on whichever airline and stay in town, given OP is coming into town anyway. It takes 5-10 mins or so to get from the Crowne Plaza to T1 or T2 (including walking time + waiting time for skytrain + skytrain time) - it takes 20 mins via taxi. Not a lot of difference.

To get from T3-T1 including waiting and walking time is only 5-10 mins; 5 mins max inc waiting time for train to get to T1 and the distance from hotel check in desks to train is no more than a minute or so

The CP is very well located right by the inter-terminal train station

That's exactly what I said 5-10 mins. But from town a taxi is only 20 mins, and given the OP will be in town anyway, they still have to spend that 20 mins... whether it's at 2am or 7am...

If I was going to stay at a hotel then I would stay at one in town and go out for a nice meal and some beers. And as mentioned a taxi is only around 15-20 minutes anyway.

Not much one can do at an airport hotel.
