Looking very nice, they’ve done a wonderful job of it and I can’t wait to see it in person on Saturday!

Very jealous, and will now wait to see how Jetstar/Qantas reacts, though wouldn’t be able to use it anyway with my restrictions to QLD flying and Virgin having cut flights OOL-TSV (I think I read), other than ATA, which still doesn’t fix the flying bug

The Gold Coast Lounge

We were greeted at the door and then again at the foot ofthe stairs and invited to use either the lift or stairs, walked upstairs to begreeted with staff and the Luke Mangan mocktail, lounge is dived in to 4 separateareas with the majority of seats facing the runway. It would be hard not to geta runway and apron view. The food area is laid out like any other DJ lounge butseems very spacious for the size of the lounge. There are computers and aphotocopier and the password of the day for wifi is displayed throughout thelounge. Food as always is great and the toasted sandwich maker is out of thisworld (Liam R). Management certainly went out of their way to talk to allguests in the lounge and as always Annette was fantastic. Zowie the PremiumGuest leader made the visit worthwhile as she remembered me from a previousvisit as did other DJ staff. It has a personal feel with all the trimmings oflarger lounges except for one thing OOL Lounge has the best view. The GoldCoast Suns were there and very friendly. It was great to meet DS Flyer and then the offical number one guest gwiilli 1 who is still in the lounge. Thanks to Virgin Australia for the invite and looking forward to Saturday at 1400.

Just about to leave OOL & the new VA Lounge . Not much more to add , except that this is a very nice looking lounge & one of the best views if not the best view of any lounge in Australia . DS Flyer has captured some great pics . This no doubt will give VA a lift to a new level for the those Frequent flyers & Biz travellers on Gold Coast & surrounds . QF will regret ever handing OOL over to JQ...it just doesn't cut it.... lets sit back to see if they will react to it .

It was great to meet fellow AFFer's mickeyc747 & DS Flyer. Thanks to Annette & her team for the warm welcome.
