I just went to QF online check-in and it won't let me!

Would it be because i've requested an upgrade from Y+ to J??



Flight 1:
Status: Confirmed
Upgrade status: Requested
Travel Class: Premium Economy (T)
Flight Duration: 14h 20m



Flight 2

Status: Waitlisted
Upgrade status: Requested
Travel Class: Business (U)
Flight Duration: 14h 20m

I wouldn't stress. Sounds like your eticket be be unmatched with your flight. Sometimes when you upgrade to a higher class the eticket detaches itself & needs to be matched up with your 'new' flight against the new class.

This sometimes happens when you change a flight also which is essentially what's happened here as even though it's the same flight, it's now a different class so would be a cancel/rebook scenario.

Will it let you allocate a seat?

Are you on QF93 Slats?

No it won't let me allocate a seat.

Yes I am on QF93.
 
It could also be if you are holding confirmed one class eg PE and still have a waitlist for another eg J.

Time is nigh for you to tun off your roaming to avoid getting charged a fortune.

T is a revenue class for PE, if you had been upgraded to PE, it would be showing as Z class.

R U booked in PE in the first case? If so, then what you see is quite normal for a PE to Business upgrade during the processing window. If it was successful, the T clas segment would disappear and the U class segment would show as confirmed.
