See here. The FT thread says short haul you will only earn a max of 125 or 500 miles for the cheap economy fares.

I suspect that their frequent flyer program will eventually be rolled in Miles & More too.

Thanks futaris. It would appear that my A3 flights are booked in 'P' class which does not show up on the Miles & More earning chart. :-|

I was hoping I could get some miles in one of the local *Alliance programs, read SQ, but that does not appear to be the case. Miles & More is so far away and we cannot credit Amex MR points into it yet....

This mob have had a bad reputation in Russia since birth.
I really hope things have changed in their management, culture and equipment, but I fear a generational change, not overnight.

It's really the ground staff and maintainance that cause concern in any of the Eastern block airlines. There is not a good work ethic, corners are always cut. Parts are dodgy.

Just recently the senior pilot of a transcontinental flight had to be evicted by the passengers before take-off for being drunk. I myself have witnessed cabin crew smoking in the toilets, and drunk passengers using mobiles during take off and landing.
