Hi all,

Just made a Jetstar booking and noticed something new. As soon as I completed the booking I was greeted with a green banner telling me my booking was within the "One-hour Quick Fix" window.

Similar to the Qantas "Same Day No Mistake" policy, it appears Jetstar have recently enacted a similar policy for fixing booking mistakes. Change fees will be waived during the window but any fare difference will apply.

There's some additional info here:

Changes that can be made:

- Changes to date and time (must be done online to avoid contact centre fee)
- Changes to origins and destinations (must be done via phone/chat, no contact centre fee charged)
- Reverse city swap (eg MEL>SYD to SYD>MEL) (must be done via phone/chat, no contact centre fee charged)
- Change fare or bundle type (must be done via phone/chat, no contact centre fee charged)
- Passenger name change, or booking transfer to a different person (must be done via phone/chat, no contact centre fee charged)

If you need to call or use chat to make a change, as long as you're in the queue before the one-hour window ends then you are safe even if you have to wait.

Luckily all the errors I've made with bookings in the past had bundles so it I've been able to fix without being stung but this is certainly a welcome change!
