I haven't looked, but would think someplace like Singapore would be common.
Edit: Looking at Montreal airport website, there is no direct flights to any asian airport except Amman. and Perth only has connections to Asia (exception JNB). So, teh answer is No.
Thanks very much. Dubai was my first instinct, but when I checked, didn't quite fit the bill (although via Toronto isn't too bad).
The reason for the curious request was because I'm setting up a few face to face meetings and thought somewhere in between would be more fair then getting one group to fly all the way to the other group...

I would still do the sums to compare two groups flying ex PER & ex YYZ to DXB vs one group flying all the way YUL/PER or PER/YUL on a return basis.
Don't assume one group of people wouldn't want to go half way around the world. Depending on what dates you had in mind I wouldn't mind betting that a few Canadians would love to escape a winter in YUL for summer in PER.
If flying EK YYZ/DXB/PER they may qualify for a free stopover in DXB on the way depending on what airfare they're on or if they need an overnight stay in DXB. Sometimes EK will give you an STPC (stopover at carrier's expense) in DXB if your transit is over 8 hours.
I'd find out when low season is ex both cities as it would be more cost effective to depart in low season if that worked in with your dates.
If you had two people on opposite sides of the county eg BNE & PER, rather than meet in the middle of Oz eg ASP & each buy a return ticket BNE/ASP/BNE & PER/ASP/PER it would be cheaper for one to fly BNE/PER/BNE or PER/BNE/PER then each pay half the fare.
Tokyo may well be a better option than DXB. YUL-YYZ-DXB doesn't seem to offer any advantage to say YUL-NYC/ORD/YVR/YYZ-NRT. In fact NRT is closer to both Toronto and Perth than Dubai is.
