As I noted in my current trip report, my 6 hour BKK-MCT got subbed out from a Dreamliner to a B737 (-MAX8 I think?). I was pretty cranky, and desperately tried to change, but couldn't.
As I said in the TR - 'It was surprisingly OK!' ... In row 1, which has great foot width and length. Everything else quite OK too (although the FAs were a bit shaky with the wines
). The other rows have the usual foot obstruction with B737s.

Not to say I'd purposefully book the B737 for this type of flight, or be happy with a sub, or wouldn't try to change, but as long as I was in row 1, I wouldn't be paying any change fees for another flight. At the moment, I have the same on my return MCT-BKK.
