Found a cheap one way business class on Oman air.
My parents had used all the points to get to Europe for a cruise but needed to get home after a couple days in Lisbon.
I found Casablanca - Muscat- Kuala Lumper- Singapore on Oman air and the last leg is on MH for $1300 aud. A bargain and still available if anyone needs a one way fare home. Morroco is now visa free for AUS so it’s just a cheap repositioning flight to Casablanca and overnight next to the airport as the Oman air flight departs at 0820.

I think if booking on the PER to KL route, that leg is on Malindo Air !
Not sure about safety when flying on that airline though.

Unfortunately these fares use MH - so that's rules them out for me :( They had a connection using GA via CGK which popped up once, but now no longer offered.

WY is a good. The new airport at Muscat will make a huge difference to the ground experience.

The 787 WY flights still rate as my favourite and best J flights ever.
My brother is heading to the UK in February and has never flown in J and asked me to help with his bookings. Managed to snare him WY CGK-MCT-LHR return for just under $2400 with the 787 all the way. He took my advice and will just take a cheap repositioning flight in Y from SYD unless a J sale appears in the next month or so.

They use both MH and OD for the KUL-PER leg so you just have to choose your flights carefully to avoid the horror that is Malindo Air "business class".
