Last bird is now in the shop for a rework of the cabins.

12th June 2013 - VH-OQC Positions to Manila Maintenance.
A380 VH-OQC positioned Sydney - Manila for maintenance as QF6011 this evening. The aircraft will be reconfigured to 14F/64J/35W/371Y.

Yes - I had to laugh a bit on an A380 a few weeks ago when I overheard cabin staff telling passengers that about half the A380 fleet had been converted. I piped in and said we are actually on the last unconverted one flying - it was OQC.

A380 VH-OQC is now back in service as 14F/64J/35W/371Y. So all conversions have been done.
 
Sad as this is, hopefully it will bring in some more $$ for QFi and allow them to actually receive the last 8 A380's!
 
Remember when the A380 was first being produced, how it was marketed as a world of luxury and comfort. Slowly but surely, they'll eventually just become bigger sardine cans.
 
Goodbye 38K. The PE seat that I've spent several days of my life in :(
