We used OLA for the first time a few days ago. I had a $10.00 off for first 10 trips promo, and as they were short trips the first 2 were a $0.00 fare - I still got my 1000 VFF points. Tried for a 3rd trip (same day, a few hours after the 2nd) and got an "Uh Oh" message and was unable to book a ride. So tried Didi for the first time instead - which was offering 50% off!

Recent issue with Ola mastercard blocked my card as there were a number of Ola debits while I was in Melbourne. Darn cc did not know who Ola were Lol

How long does it take for the bonus 1000 velocity points to be credited after your first ola airport ride? I did it yesterday after linking to my velocity account and still haven't seen any points come through.

I had 1092 points come through the day after my first ride. Presumably 1000 bonus + $46x2 airport ride points. No sign of the platinum bonus however...

For those on the smaller island, Ola has just launched in Hobart. Now that they’re offering double the points for WPs, they’re definitely going to be my preferred ride share. Huzzah!
