Does anyone know if ODU is possible on AA flights (dom or int)? Or MX?

If yes, any fare restrictions?

Obviously you can't use QF points but I have been asked before at kiosk check-in if I would like to upgrade.

As I was a back packer this wasn't even an option so have no idea about price etc.

I would be amazed if AA didn't have ODU paid upgrades. You may find that given the number of people with status all the first seats may be taken before you check in.

I think the kiosk offer is just about it; AA have enough to deal with in regard to Elite Space available upgrades.

Cheers - will just ask then and see what happens. Will probably be checking-in with 2 QF Platinums (OW top) who are travelling on the same flight so that may help.

Drawback is they're FF seats so may be "not eligilbe" although my arguement would be i'd "paid" with my FF points so we'll see how we go.

I have asked this in the past (for a points booking) and AA answered that so long as we had the prerequisite AA points/certificates it would be OK. They were not interested in cash
