NZ176 cancellation

Does anyone know why Air NZ's PER-AKL flight NZ176 was cancelled yesterday (20 Feb 2011)? Seems to show as cancelled on PER and AKL airport websites but can't see what happened. Thankfully my AKL-PER flight seems to be ok.... Wondered if it had anything to do with the MH problems reported by another member on the MH flight which leaves 1hour or so earlier.

I can't imagine they are related (or if they were, we likely would have heard about it!)

It just seemed odd that the 2 at a similar time seemed to have problems... but no info anywhere. Now, if 2 QF flights in a row had problems it would be all over nonews. And having scoured nonews (6 hour layover... I have read a story on there about Liz Hurley's parrot tweeting, FFS!) I can say confidently nothing is appearing there...

I figured someone here might know....

I would imagine that they were 2 separate incidents
