Been lurking for a while but I wanted to share an amazing fare I have access to as a travel agent, flying NZ with partial travel in business class.
You can fly east coast AU > AKL > LAX > LON one way, with AU > AKL > LAX in economy and LAX > LON in business class, from $1450 one way, or $2700 return (LAX - LON in biz both ways).
You can add stopovers in AKL and LAX for free, depending on availability.
You can also swap AKL > LAX to any North American destination that NZ flies to, including HNL, SFO, IAH, YVR, ORD, etc. though prices may vary slightly.
We also offer a deposit scheme for this ticket - pay a $99 deposit to lock in the fare, and pay in full 10 weeks before departure.
The only catch is that tomorrow is the last day for us to ticket this fare as the contracts are changing up from Monday.
