As a fairly big monthly spender (100k-200k pm) these caps are not good points earners but I need a card other than Amex as so many places don't take it still.
HSBC seems to be capped and I am looking at Citi, but is there anything else that still exists after this round of cuts that earns more than .166 KF miles per $ over a 10k cap?

In a similar boat with monthly spend but I could reduce my non Amex to 10-20k a month.

Rest goes on Amex
Oh that works well, many of my suppliers won't take it... I'm feeling a bit stuck with the caps and points dilution. But the cap is a game changer, sadly.

Maybe you just need more than one Visa/Mastercard as an alternative, and set banking alerts so once you have charged up to the cap for this month, you start using the next best card?

Whilst Amex doesnt have a hard cap, even Amex does have reduced points earn after you earned as certain number of points each year.
