Novotel Geelong starts work on new 11 story tower

A lot different to the old four points hotel this property started life out as!

Novotel Geelong is set to become the largest hotel in the Victorian city with a $75 million expansion officially underway.

Construction has commenced on a new 11-storey tower, immediately south of the existing hotel, that will deliver an additional 134 guestrooms, including 15 apartment-style suites, taking the hotel’s total accommodation offering to 243 rooms.

Surprising that they aren't using one of Accors many other brands for the new tower.

Although I see CP was going to top the Novotel with 200 rooms, so this takes Novotel back to the largest in Geelong.
