Not Really a Trip Report, but Maybe

Oman Air, I like their 787’s, lot’s room and good food. Short transfer in Muscat, so no lounge visit there, on the way back we will have a few hours there.
Got into Frankfurt on time, shortish wait for immigration and bags.

Only issue is that I dropped my jumper somewhere in KL. Hope who ever finds it, gives it a good home.

Disappointed with the tv/film offerings, way too much “american” stuff, imo. I have never watched most so called comedies from the states, but of course as usual ymmv.




Had to have the “Max’s” red, was good.

I had earlier posted this on the “mistake” thread, fortunately all good when we arrived, everyone is complaining about the heat. It was about an hour from landing to hotel room, can’t complain about that.

We are off to Frankfurt next week, one night then Zagreb the next day. I was sure I had booked accomodation at the airport, for the life of me I couldn’t find it, searched emails and credit card statements, couldn’t find anything relating to a possible booking.
Oh well, I’m getting old, must have thought I did, but hadn’t.
Prices outrageous for the Friday night, supply and demand, I guess. So booked an Accor property nearby with a shuttle, but did make it cancelable.
SWMBO mentioned a Luxury Escape booking for Maryville that we have, also part of a refund, as I had asked her to check her emails as well, normally I cc everything across to her. I thought hmmmm, brain hurts……
I checked their website and indeed there it is. I had booked Frankfurt airport as part of a refund that we had with them.
Sigh, hate getting old, but at least it is sorted, Hopefully wander out of immigration and collect bags and be in our room reasonably quickly. Unquote.
