What am amazing tragic series of events at weekend airshows, thankfully nothing happened at Wide Bay!
A STUNTMAN was killed today when he fell more than 60m during an air show in Michigan in the US. Todd Green was performing at the Selfridge Air National Guard Base near Harrison Township, Michigan - about 43km north-east of Detroit - and attempting to transfer from the wing of a plane to the skid of a helicopter at around 1.30pm local time when he fell, according to the Detroit News.
......Yesterday, a biplane pilot was killed at an air show in Kansas City, Missouri, when his plane was unable to pull out of a dive and crashed, and a pilot from Britain's world famous Red Arrows aerobatics team died when his plane crashed moments after a flying display in Bournemouth, England.
