Has anyone else noticed on the QF website that the happy campers pictured in the sections describing each travel class and the wonderful amenities provided by same are without exception apparently unencumbered by seat belts? I'm not remotely PC or fun police but is that not setting a bad example? :p

Tch, tch, tch,

tuapekastar, you should know better!

The photo's must have been taken prior to the seat-belt sign coming on, because after that there's no use of electronic devices (including digital camera's) until after the seat belt light has gone off.

Digital cameras are actually allowed and on the A380 they are allowed at all times.

Why does someone need to be wearing a seatbelt while the aircraft is firmly on the ground undertaking a publicity photo shoot?

Why does someone need to be wearing a seatbelt while the aircraft is firmly on the ground undertaking a publicity photo shoot?

Well, presumably they're supposed to be depicting life at 35,000 feet. Where one (if one had any sense) would be wearing a seat belt. :)
