Latest FF news has an interesting mention that they have taken DF off the service:

In Sky Shopping is available on most Qantas international services except for trans-Tasman flights and flights between Auckland and Los Angeles and Brisbane and Los Angeles.

:confused::confused:There's been no DF T-T for some time and I'm not sure about the 330 AKL/LAX flights.

Don't tell me; they forgot to allow for DutyFree storage on the reconfigured 744 that has just commenced BNE/LAX flights?

I suspect the equipment change has bought on the change to LAX, the FF news mentioned BNE-LAX only, however I used the blurb it linked to so people are aware its not just BNE-LAX that has no DF.

That make the issue I was indicating even more likely - soon it probably won't be available for DFW flights.

Given the prices of the QF inflight duty free, people aren't really missing out on much IMHO.

Can't say I've ever used DF on any flight, I usually do all my DF shopping prior to boarding and \ or on arrival prior to customs.I remember they used to do DF on TT flights, until one day they claimed that there was not enough time to offer a DF service.
