I have been keeping an eye out for Syd->AUH->Dub flights for a while now.
One way prices have been a around $1100 for Feb/March next year but as of today, there is a sale on.
I can get a one way now for about $780 economy which is a very good price but it has a catch.

It seems that there are no available flights on offer with the A380. Not just sale flights, I mean no economy flights what so ever are coming up.
Aside from etihad not flying the evening departure anymore with the a380, I presume they have just taken away all seats for now in an effort to fill up seats on their less appealing 777's?

Is there anyway around this?

Just had a look and I am able to see A380 options for most flights - except when searching for flights to Dublin, for some reason!

I even tried using the multi-city booking tool and it still showed 777 flights only. I'm not sure why...

I had a bit more of a look. It could be the connection. I see that online at least that from September the 16th Dublin no longer has the EY41 flight from AUH. Now I have not heard that they are going to a one daily flight, so it may be a glitch.
