No CX business awards available

There appears to be no CX business award availability between HKG and MEL/SYD either direction after December 10, 2023. Is this due to the holiday season or some other reason. No availability showing on AADVANTAGE or Alaska either.

I got two J seats SYD- HKG late December 2023. Booked them early Jan this year. You may be a little late to the party.

As someone who booked 3 J rewards seat CX for 20/21 Dec 2023 travel on 26 Dec 2022, I would probably suspect they have all been snapped up.

This is not correct. I have CX award bookings to Hong Kong commencing in Sydney for after that date. You need to start looking for award bookings 1 year out. There may be blackout periods but award flights are available.

Probably also a good idea to use “multi-city” search to peek beyond the furthest out QF reward seat date.
