No China Eastern reward availability on the Qantas website

several weeks ago I noticed a distinct lack of China Eastern reward seats compared to the previous multiple pickings on say MEL/SYD to Shanghai. Having another look nothing is there anymore. Something definitely is going on ???

Bumping this thread. There doesn’t appear to be any/many internal MU flights appearing on QFF. Anyone hazard a guess if MU are restricting access to QFF or maybe a system issue?

I can see plenty of whY (X) seats via AF FB…

I rang QF the other day to see if it was an IT glitch. I didn’t get Hobart, so my expectations were low. It went downhill quickly when they said there were no award seats between PEK and PVG because QF doesn’t fly that route….😔.

Tried to pay for some flights but having entered all required info, the price doubled on the final payment page! 😡 Something like $700 pp to fly PEK-XIY-PVG…. We used to be able to book CRs for 10k pts + ~$10 per sector….

They’ve been MIA for months.

I tried calling but they couldn’t see anything even though there was heaps of seats showing via FB (AF/KLM). Somethings broken…😔

A bit pi$$ed actually. In 2020 I easily booked PEK-XIY (ret) but had to cancel for obvious reasons. Currently on a reboot of that trip 5 yrs later and wasn’t able to book any internal flights this time using QFF points. Had enough UA miles to book CA PEK-XIY and took the train today to Shanghai.

Flying both sectors for $$$, would have been around A$500 ea for Flex (Y) - you can’t seem to access discount fares at all. Even the train was A$250 pp for First. Couldn’t justify $500 pp for Business but that would have been nice!

I’ve noticed the lack of reward seats on MU as well. Pre-Covid I easily booked 2 seats in J - Auckland-Shanghai-New York and return from Toronto. Brand new planes. I was impressed.
