Cork gods were not in our favour last night. Cork on the Moulin was wet through and the wine was still. Jura badly impacted by TCA. On the positive side though, mention the TCA wine to where I purchased it from and credit added to my account.

How was the Springfield Estate? I’ve had a few of their reds in SA and found them very good and well priced.

It was excellent IMHO. They've clearly aimed for a Burgundian style here with notable cashews on the nose and following though on the palate. Perhaps a touch more oak than is needed but has a good life ahead of it. Worth seeking out. I think the owner of the bottle paid $60.

A nice Saturday arvo with NZ. The Martinborough Pinot was fabulous and the Kumeu river Crémants excellent with the Rosé a standout.
