Well CE I don’t have any sisters and all I could do was buy a bottle of Moet and a bottle of Pouilly Fuisse for the next visitors.

And the Command still one of my all time favourites

Sadly this 1995 Nederburg Eminence was a bit past it
As dark as tea & oxidised.
The cork broke but no evidence of taint.
I guess the Muscadelle didn't have the acidity to go the distance of the Sibling Chenin Blanc of the Edelkeur?
2 more in hand, no point in holding onto them, hoping the cork was the weakest link?

This No.1 is a blend of 70% cabernet sauvignon, 18% merlot, 8% malbec and 4% petit verdot. Beautiful wine, complex yet still very young. Has many years ahead to develop further.

Ive been hooked onto YY since the 2017 vintage. My favourite red blend by far. Proud to say ive got a bottle every year, sad to sad its only a bottle! I really should have invested more earlier. Truly delicious
