$2399 return in PE is nice, however consider that it requires a stopover in AKL.

By comparison, VA were regularly running $2400-2600 return specials in PE on their direct product (although nothing much recently) - not sure if they've run anything in PE or J recently though.

Correct, although I believe you’ll still get it for the Tasman sector of the journey.
