Hi Everyone

Just clocked WP1 a week ago. Been flat out internationally and no time to visit here.

Managed an upgrade on QF107 last week with a sold out cabin. I guess someone was a cancel or a no show.

Just waiting for an upgrade on QF108 tomorrow. Same sold out cabin but my account is showing two entries for the flight and one entry shows me the J cabin. No SMS or points deducted yet.

Do you think this is a good sign?

Congratulations :)
Good luck with the upgrade.
I often see the wait listed segment like this on my upgrade requests doesn't always work out but it is a better sign than never appearing at all.

Congrats and good luck for the upgrade :)

Im sure you'll enjoy the WP1 tier.

Well the premium cabins were full so no upgrade. I did have seat 43C which is in the little mini cabin behind PE. The centre seat was empty which helped. I was more than happy with this seat and discovered that if I put my carry on butted up against the bullhead with a pillow on top, it made a great footrest.

The cabin crew were fantastic on both legs of this flight. I was offered wine, PJs and headphones and had lots of attention.

All in all the points saved will get me a lot of domestic upgrades.
