Hello All,

I stumbled across this website whilst looking up various frequent flyer sites and I think that it is great. There is a wealth of information which I have already found very useful.

To give you a little background, I have started a new job which requires me to do regular travel. I am able to gain points from flights, hotel bookings and car hire. I have as yet decided as to which program to use in order to maximise my rewards points. I do however have a citibank card which earns me points. My points are as follows:

citibank gold card - 50000 points
virgin velocity - 10000
qantas - 13000
Krysflyer - 18000

Now am I able to somehow amalgamate these points at all? And am I better off with Virgin or Qantas program? I am enjoying the Virgin extra leg room option and hotels are cheaper booking through the virgin site which enables me to stay in better hotels for less money, hence keeping the boss happy.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi BamBam, Welcome to AFF,

Well you can't amalgamate the VB, krisflyer and QF points together, they are separate programs.

really the choice is up to you. Personally QF suits me better, but it seems to me that VB is good for you, along with the hotel bookings etc.

It also boils down to what you want out of it too. Perhaps have a think of the things you want to get out of it.

Also i am not sure what program your citibank card will transfer too.
