Newb Question: Combining Krisflyer Miles

Sorry if this has been answered. And please link the relevant thread if answered. I tried searching and couldn't find a recent answer.

My wife has 80,000 Krisflyer miles.
I have 300,000.
We'd like to book a return flight for us Bris to Tokyo.
But it will cost all our miles combined (and then some).

Can they be combined when buying the return flight?
Can we buy the flights seperately? (one way in J or F, coming back in Y)
Can you use points plus pay with SQ?

They can’t be combined. If you have points with velocity, soon they can be transferred to KrisFlyer to make up the balance. The transfer rate is yet to be confirmed.

Booking 2 x one-ways is fine, if you can make that work better with your points.
